New program website expands public access

CLEAN WATER NASHVILLE HAS LAUNCHED A NEWLY DESIGNED WEBSITE that provides easier navigation, expanded public resources and improved tools such as an interactive map to provide citizens access to information about this important program. The website was redeveloped based on feedback provided by representatives from Metro Water Services, public and private partners and participating stakeholders. The website is live at cleanwaternashville.org

“Our goal is to provide the public with information on the many projects that are being planned or taking place in neighborhoods all across Davidson County,” said Clean Water Nashville Program Director Ron Taylor. “The updated website enables us to more effectively deliver information to citizens so that they are aware of the Clean Water Nashville mission, projects and the potential impact to neighborhoods and about the progress we are making to update wastewater infrastructure for the purpose of meeting Clean Water Act requirements and to ensure environmental health of the Cumberland River for future generations.”

Project updates have been refreshed and reorganized for easier navigation, allowing website users to “Find a Project Near (Them).” ”Glossary” and “Project Type” tabs have been added, allowing users to easily access and understand project activity and the planned impact in their neighborhoods. Finally, the contact portal has been updated and rerouted, ensuring users timely and relevant responses.

The site will continue to house important program resources, including monthly regulatory reports and technical documents. Program updates will continue to be issued to stakeholders on a twice-annual basis, and public-oriented website content, including project updates, news and stories, will continue to be regularly updated. The website is a community resource, and as such, we welcome your feedback as we continue to improve this site.
